Learning to breathe

I can remember being a young girl at some of my first high school rodeos, I can still feel the nervousness that I had. That nervousness always transfered to my horses and nothing seemed to work right at the rodeos. Then a good friend told me to sing in the alley way. Sing??? Why sing I asked. There never was an answer for that, but sing is what I did. Pretty soon we were clocking and placing right along. Then winning. I always sang Amazing Grace. It was what was in my heart. It took me a long time and a lot of funny looks to realize by singing I was breathing!!! Breathing seemed to be the key to it all.

Today I look at my life and breathe. We have a long road ahead of us. A long gravel road full of bumps and curves. But I am going to keep on singing Amazing Grace!!! How sweet the sound!!!
